Diffuse Reflectance Phantoms are solid samples that mimic the optical properties of biological tissues for testing, calibration, and characterization of biophotonics devices. These homogeneous phantoms, with well characterized optical properties at 780nm, simulate the optical properties and mechanical characteristics of biological tissues such as muscle, brain, and adipose tissue. These samples come in two sizes, 25 x 25mm or 50 x 50mm, to accommodate multiple experimental setups. Diffuse Reflectance Phantoms are ideal for spatial frequency domain imaging, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, diffuse Raman spectroscopy, and biophotonics/biomedical imaging.
