The shipping charges displayed on the Edmund Optics website are based on carrier rates and are estimated for locations where a specific rate is not available. If the actual shipping rate differs from what is estimated in the cart or is presented as “TBD,” an EO customer service representative will contact you for approval.
Tax Exemption Certificate
By uploading a PDF of your tax certificate (maximum 4MB file size, Acrobat version 6/PDF version 1.5 or higher) via the upload tool in your account, you will not be charged tax at checkout. However, if you previously provided a tax certificate to our Sales Department via email or fax, you will see a tax charge at checkout, but will not be charged tax at invoice. You do not need to upload a certificate each time you place an order. If you have any questions, please contact our Sales Department.
VAT Number
In order that Edmund Optics invoices the correct amount, if you are VAT registered, please enter your VAT number, including the country code, in the space provided.
Security Code
To help guard against fraud, credit card companies have implemented a system to ensure the credit card used in a transaction is in possession of the user. This system may also be called CVV2 (Visa), CVC2 (MasterCard), or CID (American Express). The verification number is a non-embossed number printed on the credit card.
