Broadband Polarizers feature wide acceptance angles of ±40°

Provide excellent transmitted contrast

1/7/2015, Barrington, NJ USA   —

Edmund Optics® (EO), the premier provider of optical components, introduces its new Broadband Polarizers. These versatile linear polarizers are ideal solutions for broadband applications from the ultraviolet (UV) to the short wave infrared (SWIR), where wire grid polarizers are not practical. Broadband Polarizers have a compact design, which eases system integration.

Proprietary design allows consistent transmitted contrast from 300-2700 nm

Broadband Polarizers feature wide acceptance angles of of ±40 °. They are well-suited for use with uncollimated light sources. In addition, these polarizers utilize a proprietary design that allows for consistent transmitted contrast from 300-2700 nm. RoHS compliant Broadband Polarizers are made with a fused silica substrate and feature a wide operating temperature of -50 to 80 °C.

Two models with diameters of 25.4 mm and 38.1 mm

Two models of 300-2700 nm Broadband Polarizers are available in 25.4 mm and 38.1 mm diameters, both with thickness of 2.2 mm. The polarizers are in-stock and available for immediate delivery for fast turnaround and excellent value.
