Optical Isolators
Free-Space Optical Isolators utilize a Faraday Rotator to provide high isolation, transmission, and power densities. They effectively reduce feedback in diode laser systems and block reflections in free-space fiber coupling, enhancing power stabilization and protecting sensitive optical components from damage.
Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters for Quantum Computing
NewThese beamsplitters are available in a range of commonly used, application-specific wavelengths across the UV to NIR spectrum, covering the central wavelengths of commonly used ions (Ytterbium/Strontium/Calcium) energy levels to provide Rydberg excitation, Doppler cooling, and other operations such as Raman effects, trapping of ions, and others.
Half Waveplates for Quantum Computing
NewThese waveplates are available in a range of commonly used, application-specific wavelengths across the UV to NIR spectrum, covering the main wavelengths of commonly used ions (Ytterbium/Strontium/Calcium). They offer a retardance of λ/2 and a retardance accuracy of λ/200.
Quartz Waveplates (Retarders)
These waveplates are available in a range of commonly used, application-specific wavelengths across the UV to NIR spectrum, covering the main wavelengths of commonly used ions (Ytterbium/Strontium/Calcium). They offer a retardance of λ/2 and a retardance accuracy of λ/200.
Stainless Steel Kinematic Optical Mirror Mounts
TECHSPEC® components are designed, specified, or manufactured by Edmund Optics. Learn More
These mounts are constructed from stainless steel, offering a Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) lower than the aluminum TECHSPEC Kinematic Optical Mirror Mounts; lower CTE ensures higher pointing stability in high-power/higher-temperature applications. Preinstalled locking collars, integrated into the adjustment screw bushings, can be used to lock the mount’s tip and tilt position in shock and vibration situations and provide additional pointing stability under temperature gradient conditions. ½ inch mounts offer a small form factor for scalability.
Mitutoyo Glass Thickness-Compensated Infinity Corrected Objectives
These objectives allow objects to be observed through 3.5 mm thick glass, making them perfect for imaging in applications such as vacuum cells, optical traps, and cold atom environments. Their infinity-corrected, plan-apochromatic designs ensure excellent color accuracy and produce a flat image surface across the entire field of view.
Precision Broadband Laser Mirrors
TECHSPEC® components are designed, specified, or manufactured by Edmund Optics. Learn More
These highly reflective mirrors offer performance and value for UV, visible, and NIR beam steering applications. The broadband dielectric enhanced silver coatings feature >98% reflectivity from 450nm to 12μm wavelengths at incident angles from 0 - 45°. They are ideal for demanding laser applications requiring high laser damage thresholds, including laser scanning and beam steering.
Near-IR (NIR) Achromatic Lenses
TECHSPEC® components are designed, specified, or manufactured by Edmund Optics. Learn More
Near-IR (NIR) Achromatic Lenses minimize or eliminate chromatic aberration for wavelengths between 750 and 1100nm. The achromatic design also helps minimize spherical aberrations across multiple laser wavelengths.
