Laser Optics

Laser Filters are used to reject a wavelength or range of wavelengths while transmitting wanted wavelengths for a number of laser applications. Laser Filters are designed using a variety of substrates, coatings, or a combination of the two to reflect a set of wavelengths, allowing all other light to be transmitted. Laser Filters include optical filters such as bandpass, longpass, or notch. Many dichroic filters are also available for narrow wavelength selection or transmission widths.

Edmund Optics offers a wide range of Laser Filters suited for many laser system needs. Bandpass Filters reflect a portion of wavelengths while transmitting all other light. Longpass Filters reflect all wavelengths up to a specified range, transmitting all wavelengths beyond that range. Notch Filters selectively reflect a narrow range of wavelengths, transmitting all other wavelengths below or above the cut-on or cut-off. Notch Filters are ideal choices for isolating a very specific portion of wavelengths.
